Sunrises and Sunsets

It has been so quiet and restful in this place out in the desert and we have tried not to leave it. We have been into Quartzsite for Sunday Mass and dinner at Silly Al’s a couple of times.  We also have been to town for a few groceries. I found Hardies Beads and Jewelry, thanks to Molly and Joyce, and have taken  a couple of beading classes. (I really have enjoyed learning how to bead and can see how it can become and addiction. I see lots of beads in my future.)  Tom has been collecting rocks for a project we are putting together, some reading, and working on his tan. Other then that we are parked in a place we are in love with and enjoying our days here. Days filled with quiet and peace.

It was 80 degrees
and "5 o'clock somewhere".
Happy Friday!

We had a little visitor this morning and surprisingly
it sat still long enough for pictures.

The sun setting in our corner of the world.

Enjoying a campfire in the desert.
We could still see a soft glow from the sun
behind the mountains.

There is such a quiet in the morning as the sun rises.
At this moment the desert is filled with softness.

Once the sun comes over the mountain
all the colors become so vivid.

A beautiful golden sunset to end today.

With some pink over the mountains in the east.

Then a pink tinge to the clouds in the west.
A beautiful way to end another wonderful day in the desert.

    1. It is quiet. We will be moving back to Plomosa Road in a couple of days for a few days, before we leave this beautiful place behind, and it will be very quiet there.
