Around 10 o'clock we took our coffee outside to sit and enjoy the sunshine and happily Deb joined us. (Deb was up for the sunrise this morning and took these pictures.) Before I sat down I took a short walk around our neighborhood to take the four pictures below of the wonderful views that surround us in this place we are all presently calling home.

We had been sitting and chatting for a bit when we could see a Silver Jeep coming back our way. Doug and Yuma were up and gone early this morning looking for a needed part for the White Lion. That he explained here. Not long after he returned he walked over with his coffee to join us. We do not always have this quiet time in the morning together for one reason or another but when we do it is a wonderful relaxing moment to enjoy.
After a quick lunch Tom walked over to the White Lion to help Doug and I finally got around to packing away our Christmas Decorations. I love putting them up and always enjoy having the decorations in our home but it was time for them to be packed away.
Then it was time for Happy Hour and we again sat and visited with Deb, Doug and Yuma. While we were talking about this and that a guy pulled up on an ATV and told us he rents a place at Quail Ridge near Sierra Vista and he wondered if we had ever stayed there. When we said, yes, he said he thought our rig looked familiar...LOL He only stayed for a few minutes but it was nice that he stopped by to say Hi. Interestingly he is parked not to far past the White Lion.
Not long after he left as the sun started to set we said our goodnights.

After taking the above picture I looked around and could see a soft pink afterglow. So I decided to take the pictures of the area around us once again.

It definitely was another good day parked out in the desert just off of Ogilby Road.

We hope today is that day for you! |
We are glad you stopped by!
If you would like to leave a comment we would enjoy hearing from you.
You seem to be getting the hang of this blogging thing, 3 in a row! Lol
ReplyDeleteI enjoy the time we spend chatting, lots of laughs and good will. I like the directional shots of course the west night time was my favourite.

Then the one day "glitch"...lol We are truly enjoying our time together, also. I do love all the views out here.
DeleteNice to have a day without that wind. West is always my favorite view.
ReplyDeleteYes, no wind is always nice. I do like the sunsets out here.
DeleteYou did have a great day! Nice of Tom to try and help Doug. Too bad the WL didn't start. :(
ReplyDeleteWe are beginning to think the White Lion is a morning rig. That seems to be the time of day it likes to start...lol
DeleteOne day at Pilot Knob every direction had a different view. I took 4 pictures and posted them on Facebook. A "friend" asked if I was a bored. Some people just don't get it.
ReplyDeleteI would have to agree some people do not get it at all. If you truly look you see the beauty all around you no matter the place and you are never bored.
DeleteGlad to see you're enjoying the sun back in Southern AZ! I'll be headed over to Q later in Jan for a few weeks of camping and visiting friends.
ReplyDeleteWe will be heading that way, also, towards the end of January. It would be nice to cross paths. Safe travels.
DeleteI love it when the sky shows a different view in each direction. You captured it very well. I love your ending poster, and can vouch for feeling that way a lot!!! ❤️
ReplyDeleteThankyou.
It was so wonderful to read you liked and could relate to the ending poster. It is a good life we are so lucky to be living.
