Filling in the Blanks—Quartzsite, AZ

We arrived in Quartzsite on February 11, 2016 and spent the first two nights in an RV park. The Crusader needed work done on its grey and black tanks. On Saturday, February 13, 2016 we moved over to Plomosa Rd (BLM Land) for 5 nights. On the 18th we moved to LaPosa South (LTVA) for 2 weeks. Then we moved back to Plomosa Rd for 5 more nights. On the March 8th, after what seemed like a very short 26 days, we left and traveled north to Lake Havasu City.
While we spent our time near and in Quartzsite I took several pictures some I put together into collages. I hope if you are looking at the pictures, and you have been to Quartzsite, it brings back some nice memories. I post these mostly because as the years go by I know it will bring back memories of our time there.

During our time in the Quartzsite area I spent several hours at Hardies Beads and Jewelry taking beading classes from a very patient woman by the name of Eileen. I say patient because I for one had never done anything like this before and secondly she let us each pick the project we wanted to work on. So there would be several of us, all working on different projects, she helped us all, and never missed a beat going from project to project. I had a great time and hope to go back again next year.

  1. Love the Quartzsite area, always something there to do or just relax. Glad that were able to experience it, 8 of the last 10 years we have hung out there. And hope to go back again in the future , many more years.

    1. We have only been there twice and hope to go back many more times, also. We love the quiet of being parked way out in the desert.
