We ended up staying here ten nights. It was a good place to stop and catch our breath after our fun with the Jeep. Plus, we have friends who live here and it was wonderful to get to spend some time with them. Restocked some groceries while we were here and I had a pedicure. I know you really do not need that information about my toes but I was happy.

A couple we know live just outside of Kingman nestled between
two mountain ranges. We stopped out to see them on the 19th
and took no pictures. Did catch the sun setting on our way home
and the cute Welcome Sign out by them though.

We had not gotten together with Jill and Rick for several years and it was certainly nice spending a few hours catching up at their lovely home. Pictures would have been nice.

On the 20th we went out to dinner with these two couples.

These were not pictures taken at dinner...we were home before I thought of it. So a couple months ago when these two couples were out celebrating our 55th Class Reunion together, they were not able to come back to the UP for the event, they took these pictures and posted them on our Class Page so I grabbed those pictures. Jill and I went to St. Thomas Grade School and high school together. Jill and I met Pat when we all went to Holy Name High School.

It was a fun evening catching up as it had been a couple of years since Tom and I had seen either couple. I am pretty sure the food was good but I know the conversation was. We parted agreeing we should not let as many years go by again. There is a theme here and I will say it again, pictures would have been nice.

We went Mass Saturday, the 21st, at St Mary's Catholic Church.

Below are pictures I took as we road around in Kingman on different days.

We did enjoy dinner here one night. Tom enjoyed a couple
of their brews and we both enjoyed their pizza.

We stopped at Mr. D's for dinner one of the nights.

Sunday we went to brunch with Michelle and Doug, We met this
fun couple a few years ago through the blog. We had a good time
 catching up and finally I remembered to take a picture.
Hope to catch up with them again while we are in Quartzsite.

As we were leaving brunch to head home, I asked Tom to go straight so I could get a picture of this sign over the street. That is when we noticed the train and the Veteran's Memorial Park pictured below. We have been by here several times when visiting in Kingman not sure how we missed both in the past but we did.

We enjoyed our time in Kingman and the best part of this stop was getting to spend time with friends.
