Happy Valentine's Day!

Tuesday, February 14, 2023

Good morning! The wind is with us this morning it actually started last night and could be heard throughout the night. As I look out the window writing this I can see big fluffy clouds in a lovely blue sky and there are some shadows on the mountains in the distance as the clouds go quickly floating by. Looking at the weather predictor it looks like the wind will be with us until sometime early tomorrow morning. It is going to be an inside sort of day.

My Valentine's Flowers that Tom
came home with on Sunday!

Looking out the windows this morning I can see friends all around us in the early morning light. (I started to open the door to go outside and take some pictures then quickly realized that was not going to happen in this wind.)

Upper left, out our front window is the Igloo
with Deb and Riley tucked safely inside.
Upper Right, across the way is the Mansion
with Shirley and Ken all cozy and warm inside.
Bottom Left, to our right is the White Lion
with Doug and Yuma all warm inside their home.
The middle picture is the beginning of the sunrise.

Then a few minutes later the sun is up between the clouds.

The Dome Rock Mountains in the distance.

We hope you all enjoy a wonderful Valentine's Day filled with joy and laughter with the ones you Love!

  1. It seems like it doesn't matter what kind of weather you are experiencing...the sky is always beautiful. Happy Valentine's Day!

    1. That is true about the sky except for maybe on those solid grey days when we do not even see a hint of sun peeking through.

  2. Happy Valentine's Day :-) It's strange that you had wind first thing this morning, we didn't start to get wind until late this afternoon.

    1. That is strange. Then we had it change direction later and come on even stronger. First time we pulled a slide in for wind in a while.
