Mystery Solved...We Can Turn Left

January 2, 2018

When I first opened the front curtain this morning the sun was just coming
up above the RV's and Park Models across the way.

I just really liked how the sun was reflecting on the wall.

Looking back the sun was above the RV's and Park Models across the way.

It was another slow moving morning. Drinking our coffee we just let the beginning of the day slowly open up.

After getting dressed Tom went outside; determined to find out why the left blinker was not working on the Jeep when it is connected to the motor home. We discovered this problem when we were leaving Huachuca City last Thursday.

He came in and said he was pretty sure he had found the problem.
As soon as he touched the above prong half of it fell off.

He went over to a nearby RV parts store
and they had the part he needed.
Above he is hard at work replacing the plug.

Success the new plug is attached and when he plugged the Jeep to
the Stinger "B" we have left and right blinkers, lights, and  brake lights.
Sometimes things just work out like you hoped they would.

While Tom was taking care of this I inventoried our last box in the "basement".  So now we know where everything is, well everything I would send Tom out to get, when we need it. Other then these two jobs we are just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sunny day.

Our chairs are waiting for us to sit down and enjoy a quiet "Happy Hour".

The sun reflecting off the Stinger "B" as it set this evening.

Thank you for stopping by, hope you had a good day.
If you would like to leave a comment we would enjoy hearing from you.

    1. Couldn't believe it when I went to check the prongs and half of one of them fell off into my hand. Told Deb I think I found the problem.

  2. In a three years of flat towing our last CRV, I had nothing but problems, and most involved the THREE receptacles I replaced on the front of the car. Constant loose connections, and failed "pre-flight inspections" when blinkers wouldn't, and no brake lights. When we upgraded the Honda to a newer one, I vowed to get rid of the hard wired lights. I went with Wireless LED lights, and it was the BEST decision I ever made, when it comes to pulling a toad. They are the "Blazer" brand, and are $94 on Amazon Prime. They are simple to use, reliable, exponentially brighter and safer, and totally trouble free. IMHO, hard wired toad lighting has gone the way of landlines, and flip phones. If you switch to wireless LEDs, you will wonder why you haven't done it years ago.

  6. It is great that Tom was able to fix the plugin himself. That salt will eat most anything. I had the the same corrosion problem when i first hooked up the Jeep preparing to leave home. Mine just needed a good scrubbing this time.

    1. When it first happened Tom tried cleaning and he said looking back he is surprised it did not break off then. We would agree corrosion from road salt is terrible. The hope is we never have to drive in it again with the motorhome.

    1. I know for some reason that is what the reflection on the wall said to me...relax and be quiet.
I was happy he got it fixed but I really think he was the happiest that it worked when he was through...:)
