Getting up and moving this morning I knew it was not going to be my best day. Tom made coffee and planned his day. He had a few things he wanted to get taken care of. I drank my coffee and laid back down in bed. I eventually got dressed but that was my biggest accomplishment for today. As I write this I am actually feeling the best I have felt all day so fingers crossed tomorrow is a better day.
Tom took this as the sun was dropping behind the mountains across from us. |
I caught the last of the light tonight. |
Today was not a perfect day but some days are like that. Hope your day was wonderful.
Feel better Deb.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I think yesterday as Patsy put it was my "hitting bottom day" because this morning I feel a lot better. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
DeleteSure hope you continue to feel better..No fun being sick! Beautiful sunset pics!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I agree, as you well know, it is no fun feeling sick. Today is actually a much better day...:)
DeleteOh dear. I hope you feel better tomorrow. You might need to explain the pencils to me. I'm blonde and not getting this one. I usually love your signs. :)
ReplyDeleteSorry you're not feeling well and that Mittry Lake was so bad. It is a dusty and bumpy road.
ReplyDeleteIf you're looking for a non dusty place near the lake there is a little area just off Imperial Dam road. It is on your left right across the road from the canal maintenance office (water tower there). It is just a few hundred feet before the left turn onto Senator Wash Road. It's about a mile before the turnoff to Mittry Lake.
Mittry Lake was beautiful with lots of ducks swimming around and I think I mentioned the spot we were hoping for was wide open.
DeleteThank you for the information. We will be taking the Jeep and checking that spot out as we would love to park in that area.
