Filling in the blanks - Kingman, AZ area March 13 - 21, 2016

We were determined to visit the Kingman area this year and on March 13th we pointed north and made our way to the Tradewinds RV Park in Golden Valley, AZ. A woman I went to school with and her husband, Jill and Rick, spend part of the year in this area. Jill cut Tom's hair for many years and he was excited to see the area she talked so much about. It is a beautiful area and they live between two mountain ranges and have beautiful vistas every where you turn. We could immediately see why they love it there.

I do not like to post pictures of places belonging to some
one else. This is one she posted on facebook of a sunrise
looking out from their place.
A tasted of the beauty and why they settled there.

While in the area we drove up to Chloride for Sunday breakfast. I know I took more pictures then this, including the restaurant we ate at, but this is all I could find in the files.

We also checked out the Route 66 area in Kingman and had lunch at Mr.D'z.

A short and pleasant drive checking out the beautiful scenery of the Mt. Hulapia area.

Though we drove Route 66 from Bullhead City last year over to Oatman, it was so crowded we never did stop. This year we started at the turn off of I 40 near Kingman and drove the length to I 40 near Topock. Though the ride was familiar it really is a different feeling and perspective driving West along the route.
