Filling in the Blanks - Yooper Picnic (March 10, 2016)

We left the quiet of the desert on March 8th and traveled north to Lake Havasu City where we spent 4 nights and attended the annual "Yooper Picnic". This was our second year attending and it is amazing to find so many people from the UP gathered in one spot on a warm day in Arizona. Thank you to Alice Vermullen and the crew she has assembled for making this fun day happen. Also, thank you to Judi LaCosse and her husband Dick for assembling us by county to take group shots.

Eleven of the fifteen counties had people in attendance at the picnic. (click on the pictures to enlarge)

Some random pictures I took during the day.

It was a good day and the weather was beautiful. (There was not one snowflake in sight.) We were able to spend time with people we know and meet new people from our area of this beautiful country.
