Good News

Today was a day of good news. When we went home for Christmas Tom had a health issue that his primary doctor told us was not life threatening but he wanted him to see a specialist for a second opinion. Knowing we were heading back to warmer weather he suggested we see a doctor out here. Which we did for the first time a couple of weeks ago. He had Tom make a change in a medication he takes that he was pretty sure was causing the issue. We had a return appointment today, things are resolved and he would like to see him back for a re-check in another year. He ended the visit by telling us you are released to go and enjoy life. Today was a good day.

Repeating what everyone keeps saying I cannot believe how green the desert is this year. It covers the desert floor and creeps up the mountains and hillsides.

I took these three pictures out the Jeep's window as we were speeding towards Phoenix on I-10.

The last bit of the day's light as we pulled onto I-10
with Buckeye in the rear view mirror.

I wish I could have captured the lights coming towards us and in front of us as we drove back to Quartzsite on I-10 last night. One long ribbon of white coming towards us and a twinkle red  ribbon in front of us. (I am pretty sure all the blinkers being used to change lanes caused the twinkling.) As we approached Quartzsite the hill as you leave going west on I-10 looked like a tower of white lights.
