Now We Are Two...

 Monday, January 9, 2023

Another day...Another Beautiful Sunrise! It never gets boring waking up and opening the curtains then stepping out to take pictures of the beginning light of the day. The camera lens does a decent job of capturing the beauty and colors but never quite sees what the eyes see but these pictures will trigger the memories of special mornings as I look back after we have moved on.  I will look back and remember walking out in our neighborhood with Deb as we both take these pictures of the beauty God gifts us with. I will not remember the exact conversations but like others I have had with special people I will remember this time and  memories will come back and I will smile.

Sunrise

The moon kept peeking out between the color and the clouds.

The sun finally making its way up

from the behind the Cargo Muchacho Mountain
and the sky turns golden.

Today our neighborhood went from three to two. Just before 11 0'clock as Tom and I sat out near the Igloo with Deb and Riley we heard the White Lion "roar" to life. Even though we would be sad to see them go we were all glad to hear it start.

The White Lion Pulls Away

Doug has hooked up the Silver Jeep and he and Yuma
stop to say the "see you laters".

Then they are off. Safe Travels.
See you down the road.

Later we heard from Doug to let us know they had made it to their destination. That information can be found here.

Happy Hour tonight was sitting outside the Igloo and as we walked over we could see the Navy Blue Truck parked nearby and Ivan sitting with Deb and Riley. The air was a little cooler then the last couple of evenings but the conversation was just as lively.

As the sun started to set in the West we said our goodnights and watched the sun go down in a golden glow.

SUNSET

Goodnight!

Up early this morning, before the sun, I started my day by adding the words to yesterday's blog. Then stepped out and joined Deb to take some early morning pictures, which I will add to the next blog. A wonderful start to what will be a wonderful day, of which I have no doubt.

We are glad you stopped by!
If you have time to leave a comment we would enjoy hearing from you.
